I’m Amy Kruske, and I have been a Spiritual Seeker for as long as I can remember.

At age four, I fell out of a moving car. While performing a rather over-zealous rendition of Row, Row, Row Your Boat--for some reason I thought the door handle could substitute for an oar--I accidentally threw open the door and tumbled into the street. By some miracle, I was unhurt. In the aftermath, I heard my Dad exclaim to my Mom, “She could have died!” My spiritual seeking likely began a few moments later, with the seemingly-simple question: “Where would I have gone... if I had died?”

My dad dodged the question with a sudden urge to walk the dog, while my mom replied, “Oh Amy, we just don’t think about things like that!” The problem was, I certainly was thinking about things just like that; I continued to ask difficult questions to anyone that would listen.

     “Is Heaven a real place?”

“Does God exist?... If he does, do you think he knows me?”

     “Are Angels real?”

These feelings of uncertainty about God--in addition to uncertainty about myself--led to feelings of anxiety and unworthiness. Seeking validation and love from others led to people-pleasing, over-helping, and a constant sense that something was lacking in both myself and my life. My searching continued into adulthood; I felt that maybe I just needed to learn more, to read one more book, to meet one more person.

In 2005, I found the practice of Energy Healing; this led to a daily meditation exercise of journaling with Source. At this same time I was also introduced to "A Course In Miracles”, a book that changed my life and one in which I remain an eager and willing student.  In 2008, in a wish to further my knowledge and love of journaling,  I began studying at the Center for Journal Therapy, with Kay Adams, MA,  a pioneer and master teacher in the field of therapeutic journal writing.  I became certified to teach "Journal to the Self" classes through this esteemed center and have taught many classes over the years.  All of the above classes and insights started me out on my journey away from looking outside of myself for answers and validation to instead looking inward, and to the process of enhancing connection with my own Divine Inner Wisdom and Guidance using just a pen and paper.

Honing this process through the years has led to a great number of tangible productive changes in my life. Instead of anxiety and self-doubt, I have found peace and joy, increased self-confidence, and much more love in all of my relationships (along with a recovery from my previous people-pleasing). I no longer turn to external sources with my pressing questions; instead, I turn to my journal and "Write with the Light". Because of this consistent journaling practice, I can now say with unbridled certainty that God does exist and that I am a being of Love and pure Light--just like you.

I view this site as a conduit to help others find the same peace and joy that I have found through writing with one's Inner Wisdom/Source. I would be honored to help you use journaling as a tool to help you find your own answers; to help you connect with the Love and Light that has always been there within you.
